A simply delicious sandwich stuffing.
Diet Types: Vegan, Vegetarian
  • 8 oz. Tempeh of choice
  • 1/4 cup tofu mayonnaise or Tahini (sesame butter)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Tamari, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1/3 cup onion, chopped fine
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 2 tablespoon parsley, minced
  • Serves: 2
    Cooking Time: 30 minutes - one hour
    Cut Tempeh in half. Steam in steamer basket for 5 minutes. Allow to cool and crumble into a bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend. Tahini is used in nutrition analysis.
